Laura Linn is a huge Harry Potter fan and has been throwing Harry Potter parties since the release of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in 2000.

As a former elementary teacher and editor of Scholastic News Classroom Magazines, she has dedicated her working life to teaching and writing for children. She currently teaches Harry Potter-themed Explorers classes at Hillside, and enjoys the classes so much and has so many magical ideas that she is expanding the class to birthday parties and a week-long summer camp.

So how does Taylor Swift figure in? Her daughter Ellie, of course! Ellie and her friends introduced her to the world of Swifties and she knew “All Too Well” that a “Blank Space” needed to be filled, and so the Tay-Tay Birthday party was created.
